Anders Foldager shocked the peloton by sprinting to victory at the Brabantse Pijl on Friday in Overijse, delivering his second professional win at age 24.

The Danish rider from Jayco-AlUla, whose palmares previously featured just one stage win at the modest Tour of Slovakia in 2024, outkicked a large group on a false-flat uphill finish to beat local favorite Quinten Hermans.
“Am I surprised? Yes and no,” said the winner. “I knew I had the level and the form to win this race—clearly it’s the most beautiful victory of my career.”
French riders Benoît Cosnefroy and Romain Grégoire finished third and fourth after animating the finale.
The Brabantse Pijl served as the appetizer for the Ardennes Classics trilogy, with the Amstel Gold Race on Sunday, Flèche Wallonne on Wednesday, and Liège-Bastogne-Liège on April 26.
